Living in Sơn Trà

Sơn Trà is quieter and greener, on the streets toward the Sơn Trà peninsula, and has the cheapest standalone houses in the city. Most things are a five to ten minute ride rather than a walk.

How renting through Alice works

• Leases usually run six or twelve months, with one month's rent as the deposit. Some landlords ask for two months on shorter or furnished leases.
• Electricity is usually billed separately by the landlord, typically at 4,000 to 6,000 VND per kWh.
• You need your passport and visa to sign. The landlord registers your temporary residence with the police after you move in.
• Alice reviews the contract with you in English before you sign, and can show you the home on a video call before you arrive.

These are the usual terms in Đà Nẵng. The terms for this home are confirmed in its lease.
